Every offer follows the same formula: weight times fineness times the current purchase rate. The fineness is usually shown by a hallmark in the piece. The number gives the gold content in parts per thousand.
If the hallmark is missing, we measure anyway. Look out for abbreviations like GP, RGP or 1/20, they stand for gold-plated goods with little gold content. With our gold calculator you can estimate the value at home.
